Green & Contemporary—Westminster, Carroll County, MD

Builder/developer Timothy Hatfield has a passion for passive solar and sustainable “green” practices. He insists that McCon Engineering provide the structural design for each home in this development (though every home is designed by a different architect). Dean Robert Camlin Associates created this open plan, 4,250 square foot contemporary home

Historic Restoration—Queenstown, Queen Anne’s County, MD

McCon Engineering was entrusted by Lynbrook of Annapolis to handle the structural aspects of restoring this two-story colonial residence to its former 1740’s glory. Working alongside Kimmell Architects, historian Willie Graham, and a team of archaeologists, materials specialists and forensic consultants, we found creative ways to reinforce the aging stairs

Craftsman Style—Gambrills, Anne Arundel County, MD

This 7,200 square foot residence was designed by architect Jonathan Rivera and built by Pyramid Builders. The different roof planes, curved lines, and unexpected angles create an intriguing exterior with some structural challenges, while the indoors features high ceilings and open spaces.
